Come to think of it, I know you have Adobe Acrobat from your post in a previous question. So you should be able to use the Combine file in Acrobat method as I mentioned earlier, but if that option isn't available when you right-click in Windows Explorer, you may also do it inside of Acrobat by the clicking the File menu, then Create, then Combine Files into a Single PDF. Regards, Joe

Update: Oops...I take it back. I just re-read the thread and you don't have Acrobat...you have Reader...unfortunately, the poorly named Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. So I'll return to my earlier recommendation of PDFtk Free.

Yes, if you are not referring to any printed page number on a PDF file.

Yes, in terms of the odd/even pages for printing. So if you merge the three 200-page PDFs into a single 600-page PDF, the merged PDF will have page numbers from 1 to 600, and printing them double-sided on your simplex printer with the odd/even technique will work fine. You do not need the paid version of PDFtk to do the merge — PDFtk Free will work fine for that. Regards, Joe

looks like printed page numbers different from pdf page numbers at top?
i wasted some pages getting confused while printing as i gave odd page it printed even pages of the document printed page numbers
Page numbers embedded on the pages themselves, such as text in the headers and footers, are not the same as the sequential page numbers of the PDF file. For example, if your three files all have page numbers 1-200 embedded in the header/footer, then when you merge them into a 600-page PDF, page number 201 will have 1 in the header/footer. Likewise, page number 401 will also have 1 in the header/footer. In other words, from the perspective of printing double-sided on your simplex printer, ignore the page numbers embedded in the headers/footers. The odd/even pages in the print dialog refer to the sequential page numbers of the PDF file, not the text in the headers/footers. For example, look at the attached 3-page PDF. The first page is odd, of course (page #1), but it says Page 2 in the footer. Likewise, the second page is even, of course (page #2), but it says Page 3 in the footer.

after merge i got total 600 pages based on the pdf number.

my printer is not able to hold those many white papers to print. Now i have to do like half and then half more odd then even zll that and messed whole thing of 400 pages.

i should have only merged each like 250-300 pages maximum to avoid this mess.
You can specify the page range of a PDF file to be printed when you are on the print dialogue of Acrobat Reader DC.
