Cisco RV320 using Verizon USB 3G/4G modem
Does anyone have any experience installing and using a USB modem on the Cisco RV320 router?
I have a need to install a failover USB backup internet connection for this router, but am having difficulty getting the USB modem to be activate and the router to pull an internet IP address.
Thank you in advance,
Jeff

I have looked up the info for you.
Your USB dongle is a Novatel Wireless Ovation USB mobile broadband modem and it is NOT on the supported list for Cisco RV320.
You need to contact Cisco at dongle_support@cisco.com to ask for assistance.

You need a special modem for that unit - one the firmware does not have install.

the real trick to this is getting a 4G modem from a carrier that supports DIAL-UP Internet access.
Note: To come back about this. The cellular card needs to install on a computer. The firmware of the RV320 is not a computer in the PC sense and does not know how to install the modem.
