Need to Configure Debug Diag 2.2 for IIS 7.5 to capture dump files
Hi,
I've have an web application that's running under IIS 7.5 using the .NET Framework Version v4.0. Our application development team are reporting that the application keeps restarting. I checked the eventlogs and I can't see any issues. I could like to capture dump files if possible.
How would I configured Debug Diag so it captures for application pool restarts or any other other issues with IIS. Also this server is in a DMZ and I'm having issues getting the symbol files to Debug Diag. Were can the symbol files be downloaded manually and do they come in .pdb format. I want to rule out that McAfee anti-virus isn't restarting any components of IIS.
Are there proxy settings for Debug Diag 2.2 or WinDbg so that I can download symbol files.
