Software Licensing

We are developing a product using C# /.Net framework. This product will be available for downloading and installing as a :

- Trial Version (Free) and / or
- Full Version (Paid)

To use the product as User has to pay a licensing fee and receive a license key. This Licensing key will then be entered into the application to "Activate" the product as a full version.

My questions are: Shall I write my own licensing module?
- if yes, how can I generate the key and how can it be validated by the application?
- if no, what are the recommended 3rd party Licensing software's and how reliable are they?

Following suggestions, we will be using combination of both the solutions. Writing our Own but if it takes longer we will subscribe to 3rd party solution for timebeing.
