Recommendations: wireless access points for a small college (2 story, single building)
Our wireless network is unreliable and cannot accommodate any influx of new devices (e.g. when classes are held). We are hoping to replace our current setup with something better suited to our environment. Wireless AC is preferable, especially since we have trouble with mobile devices and Apple products.
We currently have 2 Cisco WAP4410N PoE, one in each wing of the first floor. They need to be restarted daily or every other day after locking up with the message
The 2 WAP4410N are supplemented by 3 Cisco WAP121 PoE with single point setup. 2 are located on the second floor and one is in the central lobby area. Under stress, these will either refuse to associate any more devices or associate but provide no connectivity to the internet or network resources.
Each station broadcasts a Staff (WPA2) and Open (unencrypted) SSID. We have previously broadcast based on location (Admin Wing, College Wing, Library, etc) but would like to be able to walk throughout the building and maintain wireless connectivity.
We are currently considering the Cisco 300 and 500 series, as well as 1600 and 2600 series. The single point setup is nice but not necessary. Other brands or models are welcome.
What wireless access points are reliable and scalable in case of future growth?

Thank you all for your input. We've contacted HPE re: Aruba and are meeting with an independent network analyst later in the week.
Thanks again.
