Apple 4Gbps Fibre Channel card - OK with El Cap 10.11 OS?

We're planning to install El Capitan 10.11 on a Mac Pro Server, with an Apple 4Gbps fibre channel card attached to a fiber RAID. We can't seem to get solid confirmation that this card is compatible with El Cap 10.11. Message boards seem to confirm that it's fine, but we need more conclusive proof.

Can anyone out there decisively confirm whether this config will work?

Call Apple sales, they will give you the definitive answer.   It is their hardware, their drivers, their O/S.  They will know.

We went ahead and installed. Nothing at stake, not under duress.

The Promise RAID appears on the desktop so it seems like it will work.

The apple FC cards are usually LSI 7204EP models 'under the hood' if it helps.

Following installation of El Cap, it works. We don't have a long-term stability test but the OS sees the RAID and a Fibre Channel button is in System Preferences.
