network card with vlan support for windows 10

i have an intel motherboard with onboard intel network card.before i upgraded to windows 10 i could set up vlans on the card, now i cannot. does anyone know of a card that does support vlans for windows 10?

This is most likely a driver problem. To my knowledge all cards have that VLAN setting in the Advanced tab of the network card properties. I would dig up the latest drivers for the on-board NIC from the computer or motherboard manufacturer's site (or, just intel's site) and remove/re-install the drivers and see if the VLAN settings appear again. Otherwise, you should be able to get any old NIC and make VLAN settings under the advanced tab.

It's available on my machine with an Intel NIC in Windows 10

Windows 10 with Intel NIC VLAN settings

but can you create vlans on the card? i have the option also, but nothing happens

Yeah, appears you're correct on this. Windows 10 has a feature that conflicts with VLANs (appears across the board) and Intel hasn't been able to produce a fix yet. So, there's a release coming out in August that's supposed to fix the problem - https://communities.intel.com/thread/77934?start=120&tstart=0#thread-message-404297

Bizarre issue that I can't believe hasn't been resolved yet.

Updated drivers from Intel enable's the tabs but the functionality is clearly unavailable
