Over the weekend I migrated a client from one Office 365 Tenant (E3 Plans) to another Office 365 Tenant. Used MigrationWiz and all gone well.
Today, we have deleted the accounts from the old Tenant and as expected users are now getting
Now, I know why this has come up. The license the user had was linked to their old tenant account - Fine.So, click on the Re-Activate button and it takes us to the Office 365 portal. Log in as the user and it gives the standard download office page. Click on the version use has (2013 or 2016) download, run the installer and get an Office 365 message pop up (from the installer) stating 'Opps, something went wrong'. The error code for this takes you to a page that asks you to reinstall Office.
We have also tried running the Quick Repair but that doest help.
We have also tried logging out of the Office Account in the apps but that doesn't help.
Any one have a simple way of activating the existing copy of Office against the new tenant?
