The text in your question doesn't seem to relate to the problem in the image.
And some of the math is wrong:    0.9 * 0.5 is not equal to 0.4

And please show your work, not just the final result.
Do you think both parts are wrong?

a. If a customer places an​ order, what is the probability that the order will include a soft drink and no fries if                                                       
these two events are​ independent? The probability is :  P(s) = 0.9,         P(f) = 0.5, the complement of f(F) is 0.5                                                       
                                                      
Ans:  P(s intersection f), intersection of two independent events calls for multiplying each probability                                                      
          P(s) * P(f) = 0.9 * 0.5 = 0.4

Some how the numbers are cut in the excel sheet. I ma not sure if this the right way to solve this.

          P(s) * P(f) = 0.94 * 0.57 = 0.5358

b. The restaurant has also determined that if a customer orders a​ hamburger, the probability the customer  will order fries is 0.76. Determine the probability that the order will include a hamburger and fries.

The probability is  P(h intersection f) = 0.57 * 0.76 = 0.4332  The two events would not be independent.   ​

Soft Drink = 0.94
Ham Burger no Fries = 0.57

= 0.94 * 0.57

>>  Ham Burger no Fries = 0.57     That is incorrect and irrelevant.
