Inheriting Gmail contacts into Outlook?

I have recently linked my Outlook program to my gmail account, and that works very well.  I can send emails, and simply opening the program automatically updates the inbox.  The program did not, however, inherit my Gmail address list, and I would obviously like to have that information available.  (I often write the body of my email in Word, and the crossover from Word to Outlook is consistently smoother than Word to Gmail.)

If I need to import the contact list, I have my gmail contact list available, which I downloaded and have as a database.  If that's the case, I would just need to know what steps to take to import into Outlook and what the field protocol is for doing so.

Thanks, in advance.  ~ Peter Ferber

what type of  gmail contact list?

A GOOGLE CSV format or OUTLOOK CSV format.

You need to do an export again in OUTLOOK CSV format if your current list is in GOOGLE CSV format.

Perfect choice.  I ran it through, according to the video, and everything uploaded the first time.

Doesn't get any better.
