iPhone dial assist on Android

Hi All,

iPhones have a build in feature called Dial Assist, which fixes international numbers.

e.g. +44 (0) 161 987 6543 on iPhone will call the correct number +44161 987 6543 , but on Android it calls +440161 987 6543.

I've seen a couple of apps that allow you to create find/replace rules, but this would take forever to make and maintain.

Any suggestions?

Android and iOS are two very different ecosystems.

For iOS, the design is around user centric whereas for Android, it is Google centric and you need to find some online resources to realign the user data at Google server in order to archive what you want.

Essentially, the above free online resource is used to make the Gmail contacts in the correct format for your phone.

Sorry, in such case, it is no good to use any app to realign the user contact data.

There is a technet article decribing the issue only but no mention a workaround in details.
