Upgrading from SharePoint Standard to SharePoint Enterprise 2013

I'm getting a failure while trying to upgrade my development server to enterprise. The key is good. Nothing in the uls viewer or event logs assist me in troubleshooting.
Has anyone else had problems while trying to upgrade? Any gotchas or weird things? Sorry about the lack of information.

Do you get a message or notification? What do you mean "getting a failure"?

That's the screen that appears after I enter the key, wait for it to do its things and Failure is what appears in the CA screen. I can attach a file if that will help?

Does it say anything does the word "Failure" just appear on the page?

Also, check in the event viewer. There is sometimes information concerning licensing in there.

It worked today. I tried 3 times yesterday, same key, and it would not work. Today, it worked.
