We are trying to setup an emulator in our PC to test some android apps.  We are trying to setup Genymotion in keep getting errors such as "unable to start the virtual device", "virtualbox cannot start the virtual device".  We have VirtualBox and PC has AmdP340/3gb ram/Windows 7 64b/AtiHD4200.  What are we missing?  Should we use another rather than Genymotion? Please Advice.

Just download the latest VirtualBox 5.0.26 and now we get when starting Geny,

"the virtual device got no ip"
"the virtual device got no ip" "the virtualbox dhcp server has not assigned an IP address"

We are still checking for solution...

Note:

also tried:

vbox
no success (don't why support page of genymotion recommends an IP not the same as the actual PC network).

Hi rayluvs,

Did you allocated 1024 MB RAM size for your virtual device from virtual box. set fix 1024 MB RAM size.
also, try this video tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RQA3lPYqwQ), may this will solve your problem. If not let me know.

Something like this

--> Network and Sharing Centre
--> Change Adapter Settings
--> Right Click on VirtualBox Host-Only Network ( for multiple  virtual box follow same steps )
--> Properties
--> Check the VirtualBox NDUS6 Bridged Networking Driver (If not enable enable it.)
