I want to be a good server administrator.

That will be in the mind of the beholder.

I use Microsoft Press books if I need a book.

Best "book" :  Hands on experience with a server. Use a Virtual Machine if need be.

There are so many books, you will have to choose one you like. What you like may not be what I like.

Better though, to get hands on experience. We (any of us) do not retain much by just reading).
