VPN - can't see files on client computer

I have a successful VPN connection between w10 an w7 computers. I can't see the files on w7. Using a Linksys router

You need to clarify how the VPN was established, e.g. a VPN from W10 to W7, or VPN connections from W10/W7 to the Linksys router? What Linksys router is it? What kind of VPN is being used?
