esxi - Administrator@vsphere.local vs. Root
Hi Experts,
What is the difference between Administrator@vsphere.loca l and Root in esxi?
I understand they are in separate identity pools but how are they different. For example, in windows local admin account is in a separate identity pool then a domain admin account but domain admin is made a part of the local admin group and can administer its privilege throughout the domain connected environment whereas local admin only govern their specific machine. That is an example of what I am looking for in terms of the differences.
What is the purpose of each role?
Do they share responsibilities?
Do they have the same exact privileges?
etc...
esxi5.5-6
vcenter5.5.-6
thx.
