some icons changed to .lnk

on one user profile so many icons changed to .lnk (as example .rar changed .lnk) . on administrator profile all ok

Yes, it sounds like someone accidentally did an 'Open with...' and set defaults to windows explorer.  You'll need to reset default programs for that user.

will change the association with .lnk  back to .rar on the appropriate icon..
