Azure Remote Apps and an Access program

Hello All

I just posted and closed a previous question that led me to this one.  Quick review, I have an Access program that multiple users need to get to from almost anywhere. The backend is on Azure and the front end gets loaded on their machine.

From my previous question people got me pointed to Citrix which led me to Remote Apps on Azure.  It sounds like Remote Apps may be my answer because I need the speed to increase.

My question is, can anyone point me to a resource to help me figure out how to put my Access program into this remote app area.

I started playing around with it and I created something using the 2012 server template (which I do not think was correct).  Do I have to make my own template, and if so how do I do it.

This is all very new to me so my wording might not be correct but I am very excited that this may solve a bunch of issues and extend the use of my Access program!

Thanks

https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/remoteapp-create-cloud-deployment/
https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/remoteapp-imageoptions/

Read through both of those. When creating your image, search for the RemoteApp image templates in the Non-Classic VM menu on the new portal. Makes it a little quicker to find the one you need. You should only need to spin up the VM, install/configure your application, then go to Azure RemoteApp and add it as a collection. The links above (And some of the links tied to them) should give you the info and steps you need to follow.

I have looked and I am still working on it.  Since this is completely new for me it has been pretty slow going.  I hope soon I have something good to report :D

I have to close this question for now.  It is not working but we are having a huge issue with another area so I have to revisit this later.

Thanks all for the help.  I have been making progress with the stuff that you sent.
