I am looking to find an application that would allow two-form authentication for my administrators to remote control servers using RDP both internal and external.  Any suggestions on the best application to implement into our environment?

DuoSecurity has been my goto 2FA solution for some time. It's inexpensive, doesn't require additional hardware, and has the logging requirements needed for PCI compliance. I've passed a PCI audit 3 years in a row using their services for both RDP and for VPN authentication.

They even have tutorials showing how to integrate with RDP: https://duo.com/docs/rdp
