Best Online Bookmark Organiser

I have well over a thousand bookmarks which can be divided in a few hundred categories & sub-categories.
I want to be able to access and update them from any PC on my network (or in an internet cafe).

What would be your favourite solution?

An online solution with a reasonable annual fee would be my preferred solution.
I am wary of free services because they come and go and have adverts.

(I'm also open to any offline solutions)

Have you considered using Google Bookmarks?  If you are on a computer logged into Chrome, they are synchronized.  However, you can always access them from anywhere through the following Web page.

I looked at Google bookmarks + xmarks - no categories - no good.

I don't want a service where one shares links
I don't want one where  you allocate keywords to each link and have to filter down

Draggo looks really good but you to share to get more storage space - They have no premium service.

It depends on how many features you need.  Bookmax does it all, but might be overkill.  They have a free version with limited features and the premium version with all the bells and whistles.  You can categorize them into folders and even into public and private links.  They allow you to search and even see when the last time was that you accessed a particular site.
