Samsung Galaxy S6 not being discovered on Dev. machine when set to MTP but Discoverd in PTP (Chrome Remote USB Debugging)
I'm trying to set-up my dev. PC (win 7 x 64) to use the Chrome remote USB debugging for Android. one step requires that I use the OEM USB drivers for the Cell. I also downloaded the the Samsung Kies 3 to supposedly ensure that the proper drivers were installed. I have numerous times reinstalled the drivers for my phone but cannot get my dev. machine to discover my cell when my cell is set to MTP. If I set my cell to PTP, I get the RSA prompt etc. and it shows up as a discovered device. If I switch to MTP it is no longer discovered? I have no idea why or how to fix this issue.
Another thing is if I look at the device manager:
In PTP mode phone shows up as separate entry in the device manager and has SAMSUNG ADB interface under it
In MTP mode phone my phone shows up as other devices with exclamation mark and it saya no drivers installed and also show a CDC Serial entry with exclamation mark
I have no idea what is happening and why? I did download the driver installer too and ran that but when I try to manually install the driver windows can't find a driver?
Any help would be highly appreciated!

Hi Jackie Man... I've already tried this step. It gives me an .exe and when I run it, it completes but I( doesn't show any drivers installed for my device? Even if I browse for the drivers, WIndows can't find any drivers for my device?

If you have samsung smart switch installed in your s6, remove it before you attach it to your pc.

Install driver as admin is the solution and the problem is fixed.
