Visual studio 2015 update installation question
After I installed Visual studio 2015 update 3, When I open Visual studio, I got error popup says:
Driver Common Package
Error loading the driver common package:
An item wit the same key has already been added.
I tried Visual studio 2015 professional version and Community version, I get the same result, which blocks me from using visual studio.
I found that I have a Microsoft Visual Studio - Experimental instance, that one does not have the problem.
Does anyone has the same problem and fixed success?
Thanks for any help.

experimental version is the working part. The non experimental version does not work. I have tried uninstall many times, it does not work, if you can tell me how to remove update 3 manually, that might marks, the truth is that, visual studio update always stuck there, even you uninstall visual studio, the update is not going to be removed. This happens for both update 1 and update 3. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you for your help.
what happens if you try to uninstall? did you get an error message? or it happens nothing?
since you won't succeed as long as there are 'artefacts' of previous versions, you have only one choice:
make a backup of your system, move all folders belonging to (any) visual studio installation to some temp or backup disk. then use a registry cleaner tool which should recognize that those installations no longer are there and clean the registry from references. if even that doesn't help the only left is to setup a new windows and use easytransfer to move all working programs from current system to the new clean system.

Yes, that is something that I could not afford to do. Since there are so many programs are working, it takes weeks and many IT help in order to configure to whatever I have. I do not have expertise to restore to whatever I have. I just wanted to clean up Visual studio, but I could not.

Forced uninstall works.
you should try to uninstall the experimental version. perhaps you even have to uninstall both versions to get a clean base.
