Hi,
I need to explain this for a presentation for beginners. Could come with something simple like :
Spring is a framework for dependency-injection which is a pattern that allows to build very decoupled systems.
Although i think Spring is built around Dependency Injection.
What is the experts view on this ?
Any ideas on explaining simply what is spring ?

Thanks

I personally prefer pure technical jargon. However if you want to use abstract concepts, then try looking up the Hollywood principle in relation to spring I.e don't call me, l call you.

What apart from dependency injection does spring provides.
How will you introduce a beginner to spring. Why should one build application using spring ?

Did you bother looking up the Hollywood principle?
