Hi Guys,

I have implemented popup box in my mvc application and I'm using jquery.
I got the idea how to implement it through github - https://github.com/ROMB/jquery-dialogextend.
The link above shows project with popup examples, the popup dialog I would like to have is with minimize and maximize options:
Capture.JPG
Here is what I'm doing in my code:
//html:
<link href="http://code.jquery.com/ui/1.11.0/themes/smoothness/jquery-ui.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
<div id="popdialog">

</div>

Open in new window

javascript:
 @section scripts{
    <script src="http://code.jquery.com/ui/1.11.0/jquery-ui.js"></script>
    <script src="~/myScripts/jquery.dialogextend.js"></script>
    <script>
        $(document).ready(function () {
            $("#popdialog").dialog({
                title: "Dialog",
                autoOpen: false,
                width: 400,
                height: 400,
                resizable: true,
                draggable: true,
                minimize: "ui-icon-extlink",
            });
        });

        function Opendialog() {
            $("#popdialog").dialog('open');
        }
    </script>

Open in new window

I can popup the window and get just the x close tag. I wrote this   minimize: "ui-icon-extlink", as explained in the link and still I'm getting nothing.

Please can someone give me example to how I can put this properties in place.

Thanks,

Hi,

You can hide/show the buttons based on the below properties.

  minimize: true, // it will show
maximize : false // it will hide

I have done this one as well.

The problem is where do I insert the symble - like in need this class "ui-icon ui-icon-minus" to function with the minimize option.

Thanks,
