How to extend lockout attempts in wordpress
During installation of WP V 4.5.3 and the twentysixteen theme I did choose to limit the login attempts but now i'd like to be able to unlock users an/or extend attempts.
I have found forums that say you run this query on the database - wp_options SET option_value = '' WHERE option_name = 'limit_login_lockouts' LIMIT 1;
However my tablet prefix is WPYO and although I rrun the query and it executed nothing happened as the account is still locked out for 12 minutes.
I have scrolled through the table PHPMyAdmin and can not find suck a reference or to 'limit_login_lockouts' that I also see discussed on forums
I am not by any means experienced in SQL but the site is backup up, nothing to lose and sometimes breaking things is a good learning process in a test environment of course!
