I have a couple of Win2k8 VMs that I'd like to migrate to AWS.
Are there any products which can complete this on the fly from the source VM itself?
These are coming from another cloud provider (providing me with VMs hosted on VMware), I don't know if I will have the required access to vCentre if I need to have access to vCentre to migrate... also one VM is quite large, downloading the vmdk for example, and then uploading to AWS would be quite a lengthy process.

We use Hotlink DR Express
HotLink DR Express™ is a dramatically simple VMware Ready plug-in for VMware vCenter that extends administration and management capabilities to include backup and replication plus DR/BC at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Within minutes of a failure, you can automatically recover VMs into an AWS data protection site and continue managing the workloads using VMware vCenter. If spare capacity exists, you have the flexibility to restore on-premise, as well. Best of all, the cost is no more than basic backup.......
The source VMs are on a shared VMware environment. I won't have full access to vCentre.
I was wondering if there was anything that could migrate the VMs without vCentre access.

You will need to do the manually then.
All management to VMware Hosts is usually and always completed via vCenter Server, it's the management server and also provides security access.
Zerto could be worthwhile in a smaller environment if you can leverage the HA feature. Many smaller shops cannot cost justify true redundancy and HA, the cloud could be the next best option, at $745 a VM, a few may be cost justifiable while 100 may not be as easy.

I don't think we've found a tool that will allow a sync across to AWS from the source VM itself (ie not from a vcentre plug in).
I don't have access to vCentre, this is shared environment. That's why I am investigating whether there is a tool which can complete a move from the VM.
