Best commercial file sharing services

Hi all, I'm looking to implement a company wide file sharing service, that will allow for central management of files and accounts.

Ideally if someone leaves the company, we will be able to retrieve the files and centrally administer.

Any info appreciated, listing pros and cons.

Doesnt really have to be a free service

That's good news. Well, if you've already invested in SharePoint, consider looking at it as your external solution as well. I don't know how licensing works for SharePoint but I know plenty of companies use it externally as well.

Microsoft SharePoint Server can do this.
It can be hosted in-house on your own server, or in the cloud.

Speaking of cloud - there are 'business' versions of Dropbox, Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive that have centralized management.

And if you already have a mixture of services (SharePoint, Dropbox, etc), then there are solutions that pull all of that stuff together into one centralized system:   https://owncloud.com/owncloud-overview/

Thanks Eric, we will be implementing sharepoint for the internal customers.

The file sharing service will be for external suppliers to share data
