Unable to set OOO - "Server is currently available" - after domain password change

See this a lot. After user changes domain password the following seems to occur:-

1. Get this error when attempting to set OOO.
2. Occasionally, they get pop-ups in outlook asking for logon credentials.

If you do, test connection status in outlook, then reconnect, it asks for login credentials.

In all cases, after a few days it starts to work ok again. Its as if something is updating.

Any ideas?

Sometime if Outlook have no connection to the CAS (patching Exchenge) or users worked at home, Outlook ask for credentials.

Users usually store their credentials. The problem occurs when they need  to change their password.

The solution:

User or admins have to delete the old password from to credantial manager.
