Office 365 Hierarchical Address Book Setup with Existing Distribution Groups

One of the initial steps is to create a global distribution group, and new member distribution groups. Is it possible to setup the HAB with existing distribution groups that were already created and being used?

For example, what if for the root distribution group there already is a 'All Users' distribution group that should be used instead of creating a new one?

You can. Dont forget to designate the groups as Hierarchical however.

Where do I need to designate the existing groups as hierarchical?
