You will need two additional domain to use for routing between the two email systems, however these domains can be .local/.internal etc, for below I will use exchange.local and exim.local

On the Exchange server add the exchange.local domain to all mailboxes

On the WMH server add the exim.local domain to all mailboxes

On the exchange server create mailboxes with your "shared" domain name as primary address for the users on the other exim server, and set with ADSIEdit the targetaddress using the corresponding  @exim.local address

On the exim server, create mailboxes for the users on the Exchange server, set the mailbox to auto forward as a blind forward to the corresponding @exchange.local address

This can only work for email, there is no solution for free/busy lookup, or calendar checking...

The better solution is to migrate everyone onto a single platform, I would usually suggest Exchange, but exim does have its uses.
