Power issue with Surface Pro

We started to experience an issue with one of our Surface Pro tablets.  If we press the power button to turn it on nothing happens.  You'd swear the thing was dead.  However we are able to power it on by pressing the power and volume up buttons simultaneously for 10-15 seconds.  Has anyone else had this issue?  If so what steps did you take to get it work correctly again?  Thanks!

So it powers up?  Then what?  Won't boot?  Screen goes black?  Gives error message?

To reset power and then click power once to boot.

Booting to recovery mode...

If it won't boot to recovery, then you'll need a flash USB recovery drive.  Following instructions and enter data at the link below.
