I have a client who had a Brother MFC-9440 connected via USB and Windows 7 Pro 64-bit OS. It was recognized and integrated with Control Center 3. They could scan directly from Control Center 3 dialog box on the workstation. They upgraded the OS to Windows 10 Pro and it still worked fine. The MFC-9440 broke down and I replaced it with an MFC-8460dn also connected via USB. The problem is that I cannot get Control Center 3 to recognize the MFC-8460dn as a scanner. I ran through the scanner setup wizard several times. The unit prints fine and I can scan to the PC using Windows Scan and Fax but not through Control Center 3 which is a hardship for the End User. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, NOTE: Brother appears not to have the FULL Featured Software for the MFC-8460dn available for Windows 10 like they did in Windows 7. The drivers claim to be built into Windows 10.
