I do not know how to edit the area highlighted in red below, within Powerpoint.

That looks like an image, so the only way to "change" it is to:
1) Edit the image in an image editing application
2) Place another logo or text box on top of that one on the master slide

What Rgonzo1971 means is please UPLOAD a sample version of the PPT so we can take a look at the actual slide and not an image, which you've uploaded

If you want to save the picture right-click the shape and save as picture

Hi,

Goto Insert  / Picture and select the file OK

Probably you'll have to crop it
Picture Tools / Format / Size / Crop

and then you cant move it to the right position

you can also use instead of the crop menu the position menu on the userform  in the picture
