Best Cost Effective L3 switches to run CLOUD PLATFORM

What kind of routing?

For basic static routing I would go with a Cisco Catalyst 2960-x.

For use of real routing protocols a true layer 3 switch is needed and my preference would be a Cisco Catalyst 3650 for entry level Layer 3 switching.

Sorry, no personal experience with Huawei products. We pretty much use Cisco, Brocade, Dell & HP switching technologies.

I can give you some Dell/HP options, but can you tell me what kind of routing you need to do? Is it just static routing or are you going to use some routing protocols like RIP, OSPF, etc.

BGP published IP routing is one of the criteria, VLAN and all other standard cloud requirements.

For above which of the cisco models you suggested will work better?
