Hello,

My client has a letter with fields which needs to be merge with the sql data from sql database.
I am using vb.net to do word merge but is there a better way of doing this.
VIEW? or SSRS?

Cheers

Since you have office interop, I don't see why it would be more efficient to do it outside of your code.  The other route could be to create a word add-in where they open templates and then can choose a record direct from word to fill in the data (that would be slick).
