Windows VB.APP, Email link, text box.

I have  VB.NET windows app. There's a form with a textbox that contains an email address.  I want the user to be able to click on the email address and startup email click.  I know how to do this with a LinkLabel.  But this is a textbox where the user could change the email address.    Is there a way to make the email address in the text box work like a LinkLabel?

Since the textbox is an edit or control, it really makes no sense to use a Click method in order to tell the text box to open an email editor/client because clicking on the control causes the edit process to start.  You could use something like the leave event but the best solution would be to use a button that the user would click to open the email editor/client.
