SpiderOakOne on Server 2012 will not reliably run in CLI mode

I built the JSON file,
set the scheduled task to run (at startup) with the --batchmode switch
I tell the program to backup files in test on a given time - on the hour
I log out
when the time has passed, I check and nothing
I then login, and then the backups start

anybody using this successfully on Windows Server and it works while logged off?

UPDATE:  The SpiderOaKOne support team says this will only work as a service wrapper.  Can somebody help me do this?  If not, I am going to have to look at a competing product.  I wish they understood during the weeks of emails that a windows server would not be logged in all the time.  They claim it will only work when a user is logged on.
