I would go to the manufacturers web site?   It should be easy to find there.

The vendor is unknown for the adapter; but standard VGA drivers exist; which is why I asked what system they're using.

Plug the device into your computer.   Then go to Device Manager, and it should show an "unknown" device or possibly an unknow display adapter.   Right-click on that device; select Properties; then click on the "Details" tab and select "Hardware IDs" in the drop-down menu.

Post the string shown there -- this will allow looking up the specific device on the PCI database.

yes - unless the device is bad, in which case you have to replace it
you can test it on another system

Here's a Standard VGA Graphics Adapter Driver for that supports Win8.

Or here, if your graphics card is Intel-based, or for Nvidia graphics cards.

Driver should be here.  Top right hand, FL2000 is the driver.

Download and check the file extension.  You may have to rename the file by removing the .htm so the file extension is exe.  Also virus scan it as well.

Can try virustotal to scan the driver and normally it needs to be signed as well. You can check both links
