I'm using TAPI to successfully make calls.   However, I get the dialer.exe dialog.   See image.  How can I prevent this?  Or get rid of it after the fact?  To this end, I tried FindWindow and SendMessage to close it, to no avail.    Any thoughts.

Code below. This is it:

Private Declare Function tapiRequestMakeCall Lib "TAPI32.DLL" (ByVal PhoneNumber As String, ByVal AppName As String, ByVal CalledParty As String, ByVal Comment As String) As Long

number = "215-257-6438"  or whatever

 tapiRequestMakeCall(number, "", "", "")

That seems to say the dialog you get will be shown.
