Sharepoint 2013 claim based authentication, third party+windows authentication

I have successfully configured Sharepoint authentication to use third party STS and when on sign in page i choose xxxxxSTS (see picture) i get the login screen for that provider and can login to site successfully. The problem is that i would also like to use existing domain accounts to login into same site but when i choose "Windows authentication" on Sharepoint sign in page i'm redirected to same login page of custom STS and can't use my domain credentials.

If  you have no already done this, you will need to extend the web app and configure the web extension to use Windows Authentication. You will probably have to make some modifications to the web config file and two others. Technet has great information about how to do all of that.

Good luck...

ASKER

I'm aware of that option but shouldn't it work without extending app ?
No, not out of the box anyway. Since you are using a third party application, follow their recommendation.

What do they recommend?
thanks, i have added third party provider but i'm trying to configure that internal users use same URL and authenticate via their windows credentials and not extending app, what can i do so that when Windows authentication is selected on sign in page that the users get their windows credentials prompt ?
ok thanks, as i see it , i should talk to third party STS provider to implement communication with my AD DS
