On Pinterest, is it possible to hide the boards you follow?

On Pinterest, if you go to www.pinterest.com/stevenmiles/following, you can see all of the boards that stevenmiles is following. Or, put any other name in the URL to see the boards that any member follows.

Seems to me there should be a way for a Pinterest member to keep private from the public the boards that he follows, but I can't find a way to do that.

The idea of a social sharing website is to socially share stuff. The only 'private' board setting is when you create a secret board. You could pin things to that if you want to hide them from public view. Maybe you're a bourbon peach ice cream addict and you don't want anyone to know; after all August is National Peach Month.
Pinterest_secretboard.PNGWhen you create a board... select Secret, and configure the rest of the board settings how you like.

Yup. Yup. That's what I found elsewhere, too. I don't know, seems it wouldn't be a bad thing to have, but I appreciate knowing the status.
