For instance this inline-group is not inline in IE11 when I browse it:

But it is fine in Chrome.
I have this problem with my web pages too.

Any fix to this?

Just drop the "inline-item" class on the form objects.  Works in IE11, FF & Chrome.

As it worked for me, the form elements should be:

    <div class="inline-group">
        <input type="text" name="search" class="form-control" placeholder="Search ?"/>
        <input type="text" name="search2" class="form-control" placeholder="Search2 ?"/>
        <select name="select" class="form-control">
            <option>-- Select --</option>
        </select>
        <input type="text" name="search2" class="form-control" placeholder="Search2 ?"/>
        <input type="button" class="btn btn-primary" value="Ok" />
    </div>
