Dear All,

We are using Exchange 2013 ,our users are complaining when they are using outlook anywhere from external network its working fine, but when they connect outlook after connecting to company's VPN the outlook anywhere connectivity is very slow or it does not connect at all.

what could be the reason?as i am not able to get any clue where to start troubleshooting this issues

Connections through VPN are often slow because VPN uses the slow side of a standard DSL type network connection.

If you have Auto Discover set up (and you probably do), try running Outlook without connecting to VPN. It should still work.

John,

Thanks for the response, yes outlook is working fine without VPN infact with good perfomance,we are using VPN for some services not for outlook anywhere, during this time when users connect outlook its very slow.

My question is ,can we do something to improve outlook perfomance when connected through VPN?
