exchange on premise migration to 0365 iOS Mail app

After migrating a test user exchange account from 2010 sp3 on premise to O365, the account cannot be added to the native IOS mail app any longer. Using the microsoft mail app does work. Several users prefer the ios mail app and i am indifferent to either. Has anyone experienced issues with mail connections for the ios mail app?

Hi Leigh,

Try putting this settings into your O365 account on your iOS device:

Server: Outlook.office365.com
Domain: Put nothing here
Username: USe the full email
Password: Stays the same

Hope this helps.

Justin,
Thanks for the tip. It did not help i was doing this testing and migration at 2 am so my brain was fried. I tried all combinations but that as i was used to having to include DOMAIN. Got it working now.
Thanks a bunch.

Quick question. After the exchange account has been migrated and disconnected on the on-premise server can it be deleted or does it break anything.

Hi Leigh,

After the migration to 365 takes place you can use then shut-off or repurpose your Exchange server.  ;)
