Deploy studio and multicast

I have a 10.7 server that works great for multi casting with deploy studio. I bought a new mac mini running 10.11 and set up deploy studio and multicast barely works at all. It fails almost every time. When it fails it wont work again for a long while. Seems like the multi cast is still going or something. Even after I restart the server. I have looked at wireshark during this time and the packets are not being broadcasted or anything. Unicast works fine every time. All network switches and routing are configured for multicast as the 10.7 server works great on the same network. Any ideas what might be happening?

I found someone on the deploy studio forum with a similar issue. Here is what they found. I will try their suggestion tomorrow and let you know how it goes.

"Update, It seems to be related to the capturing of the image or asr scanning using the DS capture task sequence. If I capture using DS I get an image that I can unicast but that will fail with multicast. However if I do something like run it through autoDMG and have it rebuild the image I am able to successfully deploy it using multicast. I'm going to try to make an image just using built in disk utility and see what happens."
