Hi,

When composing a new email in Outlook 2013, I want to type in Japanese.  When going to type, a black text box appears with the Hiragana characters .  How do I remove the text box, so when I type, it's just on the email form.  The text box does appear when using Word or other applications. Thanks in advance

Hi, can you please try:
1) press the key combination ctrl+space which will toggle this on and off
OR
Go to the Windows Control Panel.
2.If you’ve set the “view by” to one of the rational “icon” methods, switch it back to the stupid “category” view.
3.Click on “Change keyboards or other input methods” under the “Clock, Language and Region” category.
4.Select the “Keyboards and Languages” tab.
5.Click on the “Change Keyboards” button.
6.Add Japanese keyboard
7.Only choose Microsoft IME.

Hope this helps!
