Filename as video title in playback

Say, Downloaded some videos from FB and gave each filename a descriptive name. How do I get this to display in the video playback.
1. System Ubuntu and playback options default video or VLC.
2. If this can't be done automatically how do I edit the Files "Video Title"?
1 Solution
VLC plays the file name when I start a video shaunwingin
Open VLC then Tools preferences
open the tab subtitles/OSD and tick to show the Media Title on Start you can also play around with font colour and size click Save
So if you name it this it will show for about 3 secs
show media title and colour VLCtitle name VLC
title name VLCcheers
