Hi Experts,<br />

I have an access point that is compatible with dynamic VLAN assignment from our RADIUS server.. however I am wondering what VLAN config is required on the switch that the Access Point is plugged in to.<br />
<br />
I have the VLANs configured on the switch, but not sure if tagging or un-tagging is required when it comes to dynamic VLAN assignment.<br />

Dynamic VLAN assignment and HP switch VLAN config

Network security consists of the policies adopted to prevent and monitor authorized access, misuse, modification, or denial of a computer network and network-accessible resources. Network security involves the authorization of access to data in a network, and covers a variety of computer networks; conducting transactions and communications among businesses, government agencies and individuals. A switch is a device that filters and forwards packets of data between LAN segments. Switches operate at the data link layer or the network layer of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Reference Model and therefore support any packet protocol. LANs that use switches to join segments are called switched LANs or, in the case of Ethernet networks, switched Ethernet LANs. A hub is a connection point for devices in a network. Hubs are commonly used to connect segments of a LAN. A hub contains multiple ports; when a packet arrives at one port, it is copied to the other ports so that all segments of the LAN can see all packets.
