Search for how to hide a partition
and encrypt it with VeraCrypt
Keep all the stuff you want to hide there

VeraCrypt is the successor to TrueCrypt (Which is still quite good .... you can create hidden volumes and operating systems)

You would have to segregate the image as suggested above. There is no quick dirty way to hide all images. Modern operating system are built from the ground up to use and display images.

If you simply want to lock your desktop you could use something like this
http://www.toplang.com/desktoplock.htm

Using Truecrypt you could create a container (i.e. not a volume) for your stuff,
and give it an innocuous name (e.g. Sysxtt.tmp)
and store it in some obscure deeply nested folder.
All you hidden data will become visible on a new drive letter (e.g. Drive F:) when you open the file with truecrypt.

If this method interests you, let me know .... you will need more details.
Using this method can be very quick in daily use when it is setup.

There are plenty of software that can let you lock, hide and encrypt data on your PC. However, you want to make sure that you choose the best data security software that offers dynamic protection all around. The most highly rated security software is known as Folder Lock
