Windows 7 HD Full

My Windows 7 system - The hard drive is full but I check the folders and do not see where or why the HD is almost full.  256GB HD - work computer and other people with same laptop was over 100 GB free
No movies or music on system.....

Any ideas?

How big is your C:\windows\winsxs folder.
You can find an option update here if you have not installed it, or if you have follow the directions to get seevral GBs back:

Windows 7 likes to keep WinSxs at about 13 GB even after Cleanup. Windows 10 is better in that regard.

Have you tried Disk Cleanup? You might be able to see extra space consumed using Microsoft's own utility.
is the drive not partitioned? - maybe an invisible partition?
look with disk management to check
