Windows 7 likes to keep WinSxs at about 13 GB even after Cleanup. Windows 10 is better in that regard.

Have you tried Disk Cleanup? You might be able to see extra space consumed using Microsoft's own utility.

My Windows 7 system - The hard drive is full but I check the folders and do not see where or why the HD is almost full. &nbsp;256GB HD - work computer and other people with same laptop was over 100 GB free<br />
